This is completely different but I was in a que of about 5 or 6 cars on Monday around 1pm it was very damp and quite sunny day then i noticed there had been a bump.As i got closer a driver coming out of the sports centre onto a 30mph road with at least 4 speed cameras on this very small stretch.

Got closer and what do you know a gsxr splattered, with the rider laid out in full HI VIZ coat (construction arco type) that he was wearing and his women passenger about 40 ft infront of him,she had obviously gone way over the top of him and the car.

I missed it by seconds dont know how the fxxk the driver didnt miss him,i presume he wont of been speeding as he had just come through the markers for the speed camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and theres a small island just off centre to the junction for the bus stop.I know this road very well and everybody who uses it slows since the cameras was introduced.

It just makes me so angry when you see things like this especially when the media portray its rider error most of the time also they glorify the engine size as though there too powerful to handle like " he was riding a 750 or 1000cc Kawazaki etc etc no mention of the high powered cars unless your Prince Nazeem Knobhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rant over

Sirch.

If he drove like this American twonk in Iraq (now wonder they aren't welcome) he'd have got a way with it.

Alan. I hope the Gixxer Guy and Gal were OK. At the end of the day it is their health that really matters but I agree with your comments completely. The problem of too many self induced distractions for car drivers (CD, phones etc) are making 'our' life even worse!!!

To be fair the guy was probably fearful of an ambush.

Pity the clip stopped just when he was coming up to what looked like a tractor of some sort.

I'd want to ambush him if he drove into me like that; like he owned the country instead of just visiting :!:

I know what you mean, but it doesn't foster good relations does it? I just think it puts more sympathy onto 'the other side'!!!

I agree with you Lotus, that it doesn't help. However (classic "yes, but" coming up): a) The situation in Iraq seems to be way beyond retrieval by any act of good will or forbearance with each sect determined to fight anyone (particularly non-Iraqis) who don't agree with them and b) I guess that mast squadies in Iraq put self preservation first and good will a long way second!

The incident Alan was chattin about kinda blows the safety camera thing out of the water. If that camera hadn't have been there then perhaps the driver would have lookin at the road and not his speed dial and may have avioded the accident completly.

A very good point Alan, unfortunately that does appear to happen :!:

It's a bit like when a dog attacks a child, you never hear (not all cases are the same I know) how the child has been teasing the living daylights out of it for the last hour in the baking sun and he's had enough :!: Parent(s) need to realise a dog is not a play thing for a child :!:

Basically there's a lack of education in both cases imo :!:

I totally agree Chris.

This is another subject that really winds me up i have owned Staffordshire Bull Terriers for years and Rottweiller. The Staffs so gentle with people but other dogs is where hes aggressive, but the Rotty is the opposite strangers, hooded top twockers he hates, but so protective of his family me,wife ,son.

I KNOW my dogs and as safe as they are with me and my family i would never leave a child alone with them. These storys you hear of always protray Rottys, staffs, etc etc as aggressive WILD OUT OF CONTROL animals, its how they are reared that makes them this way,and ownership stupidity.

There are loads of cases of dog attacks with other breeds like collie, alsation etc etc typical snappy dogs by nature, but you never hear of them being hyped up in the media!!!!!

If you own a Rottweiller,Staff,Akita etc etc your A DRUG Dealer, BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT my dogs are the way they are because i never introduced my Staff to other dogs and has never socialised with other dogs apart from the ones i own,and the Rottweiller is the way he his because he doesnt or i dont want him socialised with people, he his my gaurd dog and Rottweillers are just that by nature!!!!!
