Worth appreciating...

Yeah, this is one of "those" emails (which I ordinarily scan & delete), but I reckon we all need a reminder every now & then to keep grounded. So take heed, yea all & go do something nice for a stranger! :P

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings. Thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible. Thank you, Lord, that I can see. Many are blind.

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising. Thank you, Lord, that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned, tempers are short, and my children are so loud. Thank you, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely.

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the picture in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced. Thank you, Lord, for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.

Even though the routine of my job often is monotonous. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to work. There are many who have no job.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest. Thank you, Lord, for life.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings. Thank you, Lord, that I have a job to go to. There are many who are dole dossing scum who can't afford a firestorm.

Even though I keep my tinted visor closed against the morning light as long as possible. Thank you, Lord, that cops don't bust you for them hardly anymore. Many car drivers are blind.

Even though I cuddle goth chicks in my bed and put off rising. Thank you, Lord, that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are impotent.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when disk lock keys are lost, leg is burned on exhaust, tempers are short, and my unbaffled race cans are so loud. Thank you, Lord, for my Firestorm. There are many who are lonely.

Even though our gargae never looks like the picture in magazines and the precarious piles of junk are at times unbalanced. Thank you, Lord, for the garage we have. There are many who pay higher insurance.

Even though the routine of my ride to work often is monotonous. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to crack it wide open away from the lights in morning rush hour. There are many who have no grins the size of Cheshire.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my tank range / chocolate CCT's / difficult suspension from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest. Thank you, Lord, for Carbotech, APE and Roger.

Be more alert than necessary, for every car you meet is fighting some kind of battle to get you.
