Beware. Part sales scam.

Please all be aware of this con artist going around other vehicle forums:

This has happened on several forums apparently and people have lost money. They might get it back through Paypal eventually but in the meantime they've lost it.

Thought I'd post it her just to warn people - also for the admins there's some info from the other forums.


As some of the car forums are now aware, he may turn his attention to bikes.

but they did fall for it, for benefit of those hard of reading:

Various car forums stung by a guy advertising parts for sale. Only took Paypa, vanished with folks money, no parts. Fake details etc.

Anyone buying on the net: (though I'm sure you knew this...)

Check out the seller (post history, profiles etc)
Check out the goods (pictures, prices too good?)
Pay with a credit card (for cover)

If unsure ask them to list it on ebay and send you the item number. You can do private auctions.

If unsure, or something is fishy, walk away.

There's a lot of reading (!!!!!), but that scam man looks like he's making a good living from this!!! :evil:
