When in Rome...

Since all the other red FireStorms seem to be heading to the beach, I thought I'd do the same. Decided this at 4am yesterday when I was a tad bored. Gone by 4:30 for two & a half hours of solid twisties all the way to the closest beach. The fog lifted when the sun came up at around 6, but I'm sure you've all done the fog thing. I live on top of a mountain (well, in an extinct vulcano, to be precise) & the fog here seems decidedly British at times. Couldn't even see the lights of a servo at the side of the road.
Anyway, brekky on the broadwalk in the sun & then ride stop ride stop ride stop making my way down the coastline from here

Met a chap at the marina who does some kind of yacht control for Queensland Transport & scored an open invitation to stay on a trimeran that's rarely used. No strings (apparently). Woohoo!
Next time I'm on the Gold Coast, which is about the same distance away, I'll take some reeeeal beach pics to make you jealous!
