At least you don't have to go to school... ummm... I mean, work.

But it gets worse... Do you realise when they take your tonsils out now, you don't get jelly & ice-cream??? You get nothing until the next day when they make you eat dry toast to scratch all the crap off the inside of your throat, just to make sure if you're going to bleed everywhere you do it before you go home :P

How'd that cheer you up?

Nah, you'd love me! They all do! "Finally", they say, "someone who tells it like it is".

Better to know ahead of time than live in the ignorant land of ice-cream expectancy & then be so bitterly disappointed.

I'd be right there holding your hand while you tearfully tackled your dry toast.

That's exactly what happened to me many many years ago :!: I was definitely bitterly disappointed :!:
I was 5yrs old at the time and all my family and friends had been telling me how much ice-cream I would get after the operation :!:
I never saw as much as a teaspoon full :!: All I got was gallons of gargling fluid :!:

Hope you feel better soon Mike :!:

Chris.
