What a muppet I am

Fell out of the loft last night from around 7ft up when the loft ladders failed (the ally tab which keeps both halves as one sheared off). I was stood on the top rung just about to grab the joists in the loft to pull myself in when the ladders went, next thing you know I fall through the loft hatch fortunately not hitting my head on the way through and land ON the ladders which have gouged big holes in the nearby doors and walls. Landed on the ladders mainly on my side/shoulder, and seem to have landed heavily on my right ankle which is typically the weaker of the two as I've broke it in the past. The ladders have skinned my leg/ankle on the way down and I have a ladder imprint bruise on my side along with a good sized cut.

This morning I feel like a truck's run over me...can't believe I didn't break anything though so gotta be thankful for that!!

ouch, hope u mend quickly bloke.....coulda been worse as you said......at least u can kick that leg over your bike still eh?

And nobody filmed it? Bah!

I had two oldies admitted a while ago... He was up the ladder while she was holding it. He fell on her & they both broke bones! Teeheeeheheheheheheheheheeee...

And when I read the title I had thoughts of you falling off some blonde from a hayloft!
Just my mind I guess.
