... well for me i have to say NO..
I'm with eBike insurance and normaly get charged £40.76 a month. I went on line and up dated my policy with these mods:
Brake's upgraded,
Hugger,
Screen,
Lower Fairing,
Seat Cowl,
Mirrors,
Exchaust +10% performance,
Dyno Stage 1
Undertray,
Stop light,
Indicators,
Mirrors.
After going through all this they then told me how much a month it will be..
I was expecting it to be in the £50 mark... but it came out as
£37.06 A saving of £3.40 a month
Think a few more mods are in order .... hehehe

Mine would have been around that exepct i crashed my gsxf 750 got a bandit that was stolen 1 month later, and then crashed my new bandit 3 months later, .... was a bad year
So took a year out due to injuries, and got back into bikeing with the storm ... only had her 5 months

Mine is standard for now but i am paying 175 full comp with bennets which is 12 a year more than the 600 monster i had last time
Not much sense in insurance policies as the policy shop would not cover the storm for less than 350

my insurance company H&R just sent me my renewal, £211 without any mods other than what i told them last year, they had a cheeper one for £181, i did an online quote with bennets, £127 with no mods, phoned them and they couldn't quote but transfered me to three other companies who took notes and said they couldn't come near the £200 mark.
i did an ebike online quote and including 13 mods which they had listed, a car claim for my accident in march, and no volantary excess they Quoted £170....no contest who i'll be going with this year...lol. and it includes legal and breakdown cover and protected no claims.

If you ditch the legal cover you might save a bit more money.
Legal cover is not worth the paper it's written on.
If needed you are better off going to and after the even no win no fee bike accident specialist.

i didn't have the option with the legal cover, it was given along with the breakdown cover, i'm not to unhappy about it all though, never had insurance for below about £250 before.

Not sure I agree with you on the legal cover Fireman. I've always had it on the car and twice now its saved me a lot of worry, hassle and expense.

The way legal cover work with your insurance!!!!
You have an accident that you say is NOT your fault. You legal cover then looks at your claim. If they decide that there is at least a 75% chance of winning your claim they will pass it over to a "panel" solicitor.
A dedicate bike solicitor will take on claims even if there is a chance that you will only win 40% of your claim.
Don't forget there is a massive commission merry go round between insurance and legal companies
