Mate at work had his bike taken from his garden last night, don't think anyone on here is likely to see it but as its a national sit you never know so i thought i'd see if there was any feed back, its a destictive looking bike:

was taken from Woodside area aberdeen, probably local kids...

The problem is IMO this country is far to soft, and don't these scumbags just know it

I'm not saying we need to chop their hands off as they do in some countries (although that may not be a bad idea) but they need to know they're going to get a lot more than a few hours community service and/or an ASBO which they think is a trophy

Update:

the plod found the bike in a local housing estate in pretty bad shape, stearing lock and ignition barrel are totalled and it looks like its been dropped a few times, as its an old bike it's probably a write off.

i know what you mean sirch, people have always got to f*ck things up for everyone else, whats is yours belongs to them in their eyes and nothing has any value to them, unless it can be sold on that is, after nicking it from you.

no real deterant for any young people as the police can't do anything other than tell them off, no respect for other people or their belongings.

Mind you sirc345 you are the second person to mention National service to me today. They would not be able to hide behind the "oh they did'nt know any better" crap because right from wrong would be installed in them when they were doing their service.
I think it will not be too long before some decent minded person starts the No nonsence, cut the bullshit and dish out a proper punishment party.

To change the subject did you see this in the paper. A bloke local to me up here got caught and convicted for travelling at 119mph on the A9 dual carriageway, in Feb, 2.40pm, dry roads, moderate flow of traffic.
He admitted 2 previous convictions
Fined £4,000.00
Banned 7 years
Resit an extended test.

The Sheriff said " It is with some hesitation that I do not send you to jail today. I believe a fine will mark the seriousness of this offence"

FFS don't speed up here unless you have plenty of spare time or money.

I don't suppose you could get that Sheriff to move south could you. We had a bloke the other day got nicked for kicking in his ex girl friends front door, beating her up for the umpteenth time plus possession of Cocaine and cultivation of Cannabis for supply. FINED £30 ON EACH COUNT
and they probably gave him his cab fare home.

this really winds me up hearing this , last week my sis was burgled , we know whos done it and where the stuff is , weve even seen them selling it but the police wont do bugger all and said if we take it into our own hands then its US that are the criminals , how sick is this country getting?

we had a similar thing up here a month or so back... some of the guys up here are nice enough to know.. but if you get on the worong side of them can be bastids... they spent around 5 hours sitting outside the property of the lad who did the theiving.. rang the cops and told them where they were.. but no cops an hour or two later... so they said they were gonna go in and get their stuff back... the cops where there within 10 minutes!!!!!!
still not sure if they got their stuff back.. but the scrotes did get arressted again .... one of them had just got out after serving a term for burglary

Remember this at the next election. This government has been cutting the police budget year on year since they got in. They have increased the paperwork required by a good 500%. Despite what they say about there being more police on the streets it isn't true. They may be paying more police officers but they aren't on the streets they are tucked up doing paperwork. Where I live they shut down most of the local nicks those that are still open have no Sgts, so you have to travel 30-40 mins to get a prisoner to custody, wait in the queue for up to 2 hrs to get booked in before you can even start processing the scrote. At the weekends if there are any big events (which there are round here) or a major op comes up all the regular officers get redeployed leaving 100 sq miles 2 main towns and several villages to be policed by Specials. What would they do around here without Specials I hate to think. So don't blame the police blame the government. Phew thats got that of my chest

now we're getting 11 year old kids shot......

I am sorry to hear about the missing bike man.....My g/f's bike got stolen not long ago and mine has had 3 attempts on it...i share the pain.



And....What T F!!!!....Shaun1978.....Thats bullsh*t and personally i woudnt give a fu*k what the police said.....I would go and get my stuff back and if it came to getting "medievil" on peeps then so be it. Especially if i knew who they were and where it was. A few Friends an empty back seat and a naked walk home from the middle of the woods would be the order of the day.( hmm maybe kidnapping is extreme but i would still bust a lip or somit lol )

I aint being funny, if the police charged you with something i am sure whatever judge looked at the case should it ever go to court would be sympathetic to your cause in that situation.

The fact that the police are sitting by watching your stuff being sold doesnt bode well for them either...especially if u can prove its yours.....surely they should be taking action and not leaving it up to you to sort out. Too much pencil pushin(signing asbo's) goes on these days and not enough action. VeetyR

Not sure national service will work,,i live amongst four army camps,,ime dreading when they return from active service ,our small town has seen so many army thugs fighting and urinating yards from a public toilet..

It all stems from parents ,,ive brought up two sons now in late thirties and theve been good lads ,,,if the parents were put in jail for a week it would make a lot of difference to the kids,,put the kids in a remand hall and bully em a bit (i mean give em a good slap) they will toe the line eventually.

I suspect I may well have broken the law by stating these things..

I was in mid france on a biking week with some mates in july ,,on the saturday evening behind our house 8 french kids turned up had a barby and drank some beer played some music down by the river not a nuisance at all,they left at 11 30 ,sunday morning we were strolling along the river bank where they partied the nite before,,NOT EVEN A FAG END WAS LEFT IN THE GRASS ,the french kids took all their rubbish home ..

What are we doing wrong ?
