Why is the pratt wearing his hat? Shows a clear inferiority complex to us trained trickcyclists.
Also, I can't see how "equipping our rural units...to enable them to respond faster" actually works. Can you drive faster with a Taser then?
Idiot

Surely it should be city cops that get these? I just cant see rural cops using them that much.
I mean what are they thinking...i can imagine the convo....
"In order to stop shootings stabbings and violent crime in general within our cities, I think we should use more resources to police the countryside more effectively. These dangerous crime hotspots require our attention and i think in the interest of safety for our officers( from rabid one eyed sheep bandits and the like ) we should roll tazers out across our rural forces"
Twits!

In fact I'm quite behind the move to equip officers with Tasers, given some of the scum they have to deal with. It would go like this:-
1) You have been cautioned. Stop resisting arrest/kicking/spitting/biting etc. You are a druggy and we don't want AIDS or Hepatitis
2) If you don't stop (the above) we will disable you
3) Last chance
4) Kapow
So instead of having 5 officers to restrain a scumball it only takes 2 and the other 3 can be better employed elsewhere

Employed elsewhere? What? Drinking tea and eating doughnuts or shagging in laybys?
