Don't get any stone chips in the paintwork :eek2 It still won't be fully cured. No going through any muddy puddles either.

lol.. it still aint finished yet . i still have to get the hugger and new front mud guard painted .

the run was cold but went very well !!!
i need to balance and tweek the carbs as its not running at its best .

just gave it a little wipe over but tbh it didnt get wet or dirty 8)

i took a little video shortly after starting it up for the first time since the rebuild

Bike sounds good. Tickover is a bit on the fast side though. Doggie wanted to wee over it :lol:

yep the tick over was set high to burn off the oil i put down the pots when i did the compression test ! it was like a 2stroke for a few minutes :lol:

the 2-1 is a lot quieter at lower rpm than duel cans but as soon as its over 5k its louder :twisted:

one thing that bugged me was the indicators ! they were flashing faster than normal .
but they aint LED'S normal bulbs 12v 5w what wattage is the storms bulbs ?

There service manual is a bit confusing cause it says 1.7w 98 to 00 and then it has 1.4 after 98 :confused

Check the bulbs are working cause if ones blown they will flash fast :thumbup:

thay are all working 8O its the first thing i checked 8)
i know i can get 12v 10w bulbs cheep so that will give me 10w more on each side and hope that will load it up enough to slow them down

Either that or the flasher relay is playing up. Give the relay a bit of a tap or wiggle the connector block see if it effects thing's.
