HI all thanks for all your help, could not sleep so got up at 5am and got busy , checked ccts they are ok,(gonna order some manual ones me thinks) stripped carbs & it was a blocked jet (thank god) cleaned out float bowls, & ordered a new fuel filter, rode her to work and took her up to a ton twenty ...

i havent looked to be honest , i hope your right, i will have to have do some investigating tommorrow night , i will also check the plugs & electrics, not long fitted cbr 125 rectifier, could be cdi had one go on vfr , i have a gut feeling its more serious though,

CHEERS! Big Andy , i will give it ago in the week, i think the flasher unit is a good plan think ive seen some on ebay for about £12 just have to have a look at the original unit for plug pin type ,
