running rough after painting
running rough after painting
I have just rebuilt my firestorm back up after having it re sprayed, after starting it with fresh fuel in the tank I noticed it was running rough ie misfiring but it has not been started for 4 months so thought it would clear itself, but it ticks over a bit lumpy and then cuts out when you go to rev it, so this I know is a fuel problem so I started it back up again and tweeked the float bowl overflow screw and the front carb is fine but there is a week dribble coming from the rear carb float bowl overflow which tells me there is hardly any fuel getting to the rear carb, I don't really want to strip it down and rebuild the carbs has anyone got any ideas,

you could buy a cheap set of carbs and swap em over, is it possible some overspray or dust has entered the tank when it was sprayed, maybe empty the tank and blast it thru with an air line, not sure if it'll work tho....

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

Did you put the vac pipe on the correct nipple of the fuel tap?

I can't be bothered searching for the pic. But make sure the small line is connected torwards the rear behind the left fuel line on the petcock and not on the bottom.
