Re: Customs Cost...

How much was the customs charge and how much was the handling company's 'handling fee' ?
I bought a set of discs from China and was slapped with £3.90 VAT and a £18 handling fee. I wrote them a letter essentially telling them to get wombles and haven't heard from them since!

Re: what size drill bit

The Metric thread system is an easy one to work out. If you know the pitch (distance between peaks of the thread) of the thread which you are tapping, you simply remove this number from the thread size (eg M6=6mm) to find your tapping drill size. For example M6 (nominal diameter) x1mm (pitch) = 6-1=...

Re: Watch your back front and sides!! (FROME)

Where have you seen them? Do they hang out on the B3090 and A361 or roads around the other side of Frome?

Re: SP1 front end....

The forks are dropped 35mm through the yokes on mine and it's still a bit too happy to get the front end up
I should really get a decent rear shock to finish the setup off.

Re: Anyone play instruments?

Drummers, get pictures of yours kits up! I'm thinking about soundproofing my garage so I can play as early or late as I like. I used to have all the time during the day when I was a student but I can't play nearly as much around work these days :( Here's a shameless plug of one of my old videos...I ...

Re: Brief bad fuelling after heavy braking from high speed

I've had this following an emergency stop from 65-70mph when an RV decided to pull out without looking. It seemed to go away after 30 seconds, like yours. I can only guess what it could be :confused

Here's a pic of the bike with the SP1 front end. No comments about the colour please :biggrin I bought...

Re: SP1 front end....

Mostly on other forums...I'm ashamed to admit here that I'm an avid fan of the MK3 Golf GTI so that's been taking up my time and the Firestorm has been tucked up in the garage since November :shh:
