Red one in Solihull
I've seen a very tidy looking red Storm parked up in Mell Square a few times now. It was there yesterday afternoon turning me green with envy while I sat and waited for the missus. Is it anyone's on here?

Re: What would you pay for this bike....
Cheers for the inputs, I figured it probably wasn't worth much more than maybe £600 so at least nobody said £250!
Even £400 would be quarter of the way to a very nice VTR on a good day, maybe it's worth trying to get shot in winter before the MOT, tax, etc all come up again.

Re: Mileage What's yours?
My bike (not a Storm) is 13 years old and approaching it's 55,000th mile clocked. Still pulls like train for what was a pretty old hat engine even when the bike was new. 100+ with two up (under closed circuit conditions, of course... ) and still fully capable of embarassing the arrogant drivers of ...

What would you pay for this bike....
Hi folks, I'm a bit torn at the moment as to what to do with my bike, I'm wondering if it's worth selling it to help pay for my Storm, or better to keep it as a workhorse and ride it into the ground. To help me I'm just wondering, if you were in the market for that type of bike, say on ebay, what ...

I'll be at Hopwood if I'm not working that weekend, it's only down the road.AMCQ46 wrote:

BUlldozer
Bikers couple Bob and Mary are walking down the street when they see a group of Harleys riding 2 abreast. Loads of noise, the smell of unburnt fuel and leaking oil hang in the air. Suddenly a bulldozer rounds a corner, accelerating up to top speed it crashes through the Harleys scattering machines ...

Re: IMPORTANT!! Barmy EU plans to ban bikes over 7 yrs old
I've been reading about this in Streetfighters magazine. To be honest it just reads like a set of ideas that are stupid in the first place, but even srupider when you consider the cost and difficulty in implementing any of them. Manufacturers, dealers and owners will all end up out of pocket ...

No such luck on my insurance, in the last 3 years I've claimed for one bike nicked and another written off by a blind car driver. Quotes aren't pretty, but I reckon I can haggle a fair bit off with my current insureer by playing the loyal customer card.

Re: Why did you choose the storm
For me I want a bike to keep clean and love to play on in the summer. I've had a Honda in the past and it was brilliant (lightly customised '98 Hornet 600) in terms of build, design, performance. I want something with a bit more grunt than the 600s I'm used to, so I can hold my own with the big boys ...

Afternoon all, Newbie here checking in, 23 year old from the West Mids looking to buy a VTR as soon as I can afford it and the fiance lets me! Currently riding a battle scarred GSX600-F as my all-in-one commuter and weekend bike, but looking for 'Storm to play on and keep nice while the GSX gets ...
