Thanks for the replies I think you are right they will probably last for years now I have done the stopper mod. I was going to get some old stock cct's from somewhere and convert them to manual to have on hand for when the inevitable happens. I will wait and see if Bazza comes along with any advice ...

Just to clarify a few points I am not Manx but Scottish living on the Isle of Man and I love all road racing and have been to the NW200 and the Ulster. But I still think the TT is the premier race and the only one in the Calendar that was on the Gp circuit of old. But that is only my humble opinion ...

Thanks for the info but have already done the stopper mod. I am wanting to convert the stock cct's rather than buying manual ones. I have read about someone doing this but there were no instructions.

Thanks for all the replies. I do believe the Irish have an approximation of road racing but it is not as good as the real thing :D . I have actually managed to get race week off this year for only the 2nd time in my 20 odd years of living here so hopefully will manage to get down to the tent for a ...

Hi just bought my first Firestorm a 2000 model in the fastest colour RED it has scorpion cans and makes a lovely noise and now that the snow has melted I am able to get out on our lovely manx roads.
