Re: Speedo sensor type
Yup, shock disintegrating is a 99.9% chance of a ticket to wombles TN lol, Payday friday so I'll be grabbing the bits I still need and then its going to the local shop for the work, had a pop at it in my mates garage with a block and tackle but no shifting the linkage pin even with heat, so the ...

Re: Centre jack/lifter
Nottingham area, I appreciate any offers but as I'm waiting on the linkage to arrive (Friday hopefully) I'm not in any rush and Its always better to have the kit myself for future modding/servicing use

Re: Nodding to other bikers
I nod to most riders, even the Oldschool Mods on scooters, because in my eyes although they are the old 'Enemy' of bikers, hells teeth they have done their time and so I think they deserve my respect, Only ones who I facepalm at are idiots in t-shirts trainers etc and the roadwasps, Service vehicles ...

Re: Centre jack/lifter
Abba stand is the one I'd read about previously so cheers, some great answers here and I enjoy the humour shared :) I can't tie anything to a roof because I don't have a garage, the pic of the bikes is where I work on them as well, although the Magna may be going now as I'm single, I haven't decided ...

Re: Speedo sensor type
Seeing as I only received the bike on saturday I think I am exempt from any admonishment regarding lack of care/maintenance on the beastie :) I'm only responsible for it now and yes, cleaning/checking and greasing is on a three day routine, day to day its a quick wipe and the usual pre-ride checks ...

Re: Speedo sensor type
Passed Mot with a couple of ads, rear disc bit worn, front tyre near limit, we found the problem in the swingarm, its one of the linkages that needs new sleeves (Which I have) and chain touch too tight  my bad, I didn't check after putting the round thing back on and tightening the bolt up My ...

Re: Speedo sensor type
Myergh! Paddockstand fail... My mates stand holds the swingarm which is as much use as *insert analogy of choice* so I rolled the bike to the shop and took the tyre off there, checked swingarm and head over, no play so seem fine for Mot, Nice new Metz 4 on there and waiting in queue for Mot now ...

Re: Speedo sensor type
Didn't make it anywhere yesterday, slept too late lol, I do at least have a tyre fitting later today so as soon as the bikes here its back wheel off and down to the shop, I'll replace the front one with a matching slice once I land the big money next month but for Mot purposes I'll be on a win, just ...
