wanted: Jardine high mount bracket, left side

Its only the hanger bracket i need. I already have the right side (clutch side) bracket so I only the left side. Willing to buy a pair tho if you don't want to separate them

Re: VTR with USD forks....

Yes the rear shock is well "shocking" as standard. A decent aftermarket one doesn't make it faster, but allows you to ride it faster over crappy roads, if that makes sense! its a great mod. it doesnt make your bike faster per say... but sorting both ends of the suspension brings more conf...

Re: VTR with USD forks....

Did you fit the USD forks or did you buy it that way? I'm a big advocate of the USD forks on the VTR. Makes a pretty impressive difference. The VTR got skimped in the suspension and brakes department if you ask me. The bonus to USD's is you usually get a better brakes package as well as much beffier...

No point in putting a VFR tank on a track bike. You want smaller not more. Unless you thinking of that for Kemit.

Re: Is Carl about...?

There's 2 highly detailed threads on superhawkforum.com with lots of pictures. It involves custom linkage brackets and dog bones as well as a custom exhaust as the shock has to be moved and gets in the way of the rear header. Other than that's its mostly bolt on if you have the rear brake and sprock...

Unless the manual calls for thread locker, dont put loctite on it. As long as its torqued to spec, it will stay there

Re: 2005 Firestorm

Honestly I love the storm. I'm with you in the riding style. I'm more of a track day and dropping knee in the canyon rider than I am a cruise around the hills kinda guy. Anyways the VTR is an EXCLLENT bike for this kind of riding AFTER you put a LOT of money into it. If I started over I'd probably g...

Re: bought another storm

You won' be able to get into the garage soon! Does this mean the Ducati will be moving on? i believe so Kev. honestly im just not interested in the maintainence and up keep they require. it reminds why i love the storm so much. after snooping around the Duc forums, i see they have way to many "...
