Yes, I think so. I've just taken the clutch lever off to inspect and that rubber boots seems to fit it.

Re: LH switch block
That looks bent to me. Does the heel plate touch the swing arm when the suspension is compressed? Yes, it is bent. I don't think it touched the swingarm. Now I've installed the new/2nd hand bits. See pics below of setup and old bent/broken parts. https://i.ibb.co/R72bTZK/IMG-20211015-151430.jpg htt...

Clutch lever push rod
Hi After my bike hit the ground, the clutch lever was bent back. So I bought a matching clutch lever/brake lever combo off ebay. All fits well, but I'm getting a new clutch master cylinder push rod assembly as the old ones have major wear. See https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PC-VFR-800-CB-CBR-VF-VTR-100...

How is the engine mounted?
Hi
Stupid question time. Is the engine in a VTR1000F mounted on rubber mounts or solidly bolted to the frame? I can't see any mounts so...

Re: LH switch block
Hey I was moving my bike around the other day, pushing backwards up a slightly steep bit of concrete and my left foot slipped! Down I went with the bike.... Now I have a busted gear pedal/shifter and a bent clutch lever. Both of these items I will replace. Also have a ding in the tank. I will cover...

Fuel tank size
Hi
My tank has a few dings in it and I was wondering about an ABS cover like this one...

I remember reading somewhere that there are two tank sizes - 16L and 19L. How do I tell which one is mine?

Advice on front fairing wanted
Hi Now tackling the front fairing. I can slip it onto the bike, and do up the 2 socket head screws on each side, but now the rear vision mirrors don't line up!!! I bought a new visor off ebay as the old one was cracked and dull. It seems to line up ok with the holes on the fairing. But the holes in ...

Re: Pop fart crackle
Thanks Mototrick. I've decided to take it to a professional to do the carbies for me once it's legally on the road. On 2nd thoughts I'll have a go myself. Is this the carby sync thread? https://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=18430 NOTE: Link to PDF of carby sync document no longer v...

Re: Pop fart crackle
Thanks. Bike idles around 1300-1400rpm when hot. Bike still pops a bit sometimes at idle. Seems to rev ok. Does it need the carbies sychronised? What is involved in that process? Mind you I've yet to take it for a ride. I'm sure more surprises will come up! Under tank: https://i.ibb.co/dpCpLJ5/IMG-2...
