DataTool vito Alarm removal
Hi, I have a DataTool vito Alarm which i think is draining my battery after 8 days the battery is totally flat is it a big job to remove?

Just to let you all know ive sorted the problem with the cutting out, well my brother did as we were changing the air filter i noticed a crack in a vacum pipe so removed it cut it back and replaced. Went to the MCN show at Skegness yesterday and never cut out so fingers crossed thats it.

Right i turned the idle up to 1200, but it still cut out going to change the air filter and balance the carbs next, Ive also put some carb stablizer in the fuel as ive been told that a varnish forms and it could be part of the problem. The bike runs perfect ive been all over on her and it only ...

Change the complete swinging arm, ive decided to wait until winter now. then going to do a complete strip down ive got a massive garage so plenty of space. i think the best way to get to know a bike is to strip it and rebuld.

turned the idle up to 1200 but not had chance to try it yet carbs might need to be balanced but new to bike so would not do on my own. just been told R/R could be problem but will wait and see what idle does.

Thanks Kevg, ive had a good look around and found a few things to checkout tonight, ive also been told about using Fuel Stabilizer which gives the carbs a good cleanout. I tied it as soon as i got in from work and the clicking was still there so i removed the battery and put the original one back on, this had been on charge over night. It fired up and i checked it with the multimeter and the reading was between 13 and 14 so it seems to be charging alright i will ...

Thanks to both of you i will hopefully check it out tonight or at the weekend, the lad i got the bike off did say it ws a new battery but it could be knackered, and the battery i put on was off a Suzuki Bandit 600 so it could be a little under power.
