CCT one more time
One year ago(12000km ago) I've replaced both CCT's - of course front one failed. I don't want to think when CCT will fail, so I'm wondering to make some modification. I think that front CCT fails more often because it is not "flooded" in oil - like the rear is. In cars, CCT are always spring and oil ...

Re: abba stand
It just depends why you want the stand i suppose :) Yeah, you're right. I need it only for front suspension service. Now i'm going to make those tricky wrenches for lock nuts in frame. I can use lock nut wrench to fix bike more tight in stand. So, I decided to make more universal stand - from link ...

Re: abba stand
Bikerpiker, thanks!
However, I assume that swingarm pivot is more secure place to lift the bike.

Re: Problems starting when hot
Normally my VTR starts first push of the button (ok, maybe second when it's really cold), but I've noticed a problem on the bike since I bought it (back in April - she's a '99 on a T plate with around 24,000 miles on the clock now). Whenever the engine gets hot (over half way on the temperature ...

Re: Carb balancing
When I checked first time carb synchronization, I suppose first time from factory, I found that rear vacuum was exactly 20mmHg higher than front. On synchronization adjusting screw and on throttle stop screw was paint lines(marks) perfectly aligned. Therefore I'm wondering how the carbs must be ...

Carb balancing
Hi boys. I've got one question according carb balancing. In service manual there is mentioned that vacuum difference between carbs is 20mmHg and base carb is front one. So: -vacuum must be equal on both carbs -vacuum in rear carb must be 20mmHg higher than front? Manual for SP-1,SP-2 says clearly ...

Firestorm from Poland
Hello everyone!
I'm from Poland and I have VTR from 2002.
My bike is without any mods, still with standard cans.
At 12500km I replaced both CCT's but I love my bike - it is much better than previous Honda VFR750F.
