I agree with that Mike, definitely quicker :!: :D

We're just creatures of habbit, once we get used to this I'm sure all will be fine :!:

Hi Folks,

I guess those who have managed to use a bit of common sense have found the forum and have noticed that it has changed. The forum software phpBB2 was out of date and no longer supported with updates so the time had come to bite the bullet and upgrade to phpBB3.

There is going to be a bit of a learing curve finding your way around but it is worth it. Unfortunately the gallery code no longer works but with the number of free picture hosting sites out there it shouldn't be too much of a loss. I have lest all the graphics files on the server so any links to the existing images will still work.

The template (layout) for the site could do with some tweaking. If you want to go and have a root around for one you like better then there are plenty of free templates out there - try http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/ for a start.

Cheers for now,

Al.

That sounds like a good idea to me.

Oooooooooo this is wierd!

Can't even go out for a few beers of a Saturday night without the World changing!

Went out last night the forum was the forum :) Just refreshed the subject I was viewing and ended up here :eek2

OMG gonna have to learn it all again 8O

An going to have to redo me sig by the look of when I just posted this!

How come the margins either side? can we have it widened?

Everything's back to front too :x Am I living in a parallel universe now?

I have a cunning plan though - I;ll just look at the forum using a mirror - that should put it back to how it was surley?

Doh!

FirestormMike wrote:and another thing... I've been using the Firestorm UK toolbar and the button disppeared for the forum 2 days ago, would this change have anything to do with that ?
Hi ya

If you click the wee logo on the left hand side that'll take you into the forum too :) I realised yesterday on it that there were more buttons than needed to get to the forum.

You know those films where a bloke suddenly finds his world is subtly changed?

There's a new President in charge of the government, Germany won WW2, his wife looks different, etc?

You're messing with me dependables, here.

Gotta say, whenever I try a site for other bikes, when I'm thinking about buying one for instance, and see the sites that other people have to put up with, I've always felt a bit superior and happy that I've got this one which is so much easier to understand and navigate around.

No more..... :|
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
