No mate not sensitive about it at all 8)

Believe me, I've NOTHING to hide

Threats now that's something else

Not sure it could be described as a new feature but, .......

On the old forum, when you clicked a link it opened up in a new window iirc. However, this one doesn't, it navigates your forum window to whatever spurious link has been posted.

Personally I don't like this - any chance this can be re-jigged to open in new window likee the old site?

Yes I know you can just right click the link and as it to open in new pane or new window, just easier if it did like it used to.

If you are using a mouse with a wheel then use the wheel button to click on the link instead of the left button.

Clicking both the buttons on the touchpad on my laptop is the same as clicking the wheel button.

So that's a no then is it

Well I just so happen to have a wheeled mouse - the wheel 'rocks' too which I knew did the scrolling left/right - but didn't know clicking it would do that to an http - But I do now :biggrin

Thanks for that Al - you're not here often (well not posting anyhow) but you make up for your absences when you are!

I'm loving the 'View new posts' button - much better than the multiple clicks and the warnings about searching again so soon you used to get with the old software!

Thanks.

(Notice? no sig  )

Ooooooooooooh :eek2

'Friends & Foes'

"Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators."

Tim, you're not in it - yet :D

For that matter, neither is anyone else, nor are they likely to be

I can see it might be of use on some forums, but surely not this one :?:

Posts by these users will not be fully visible? WTF is that all about? surely it should either show them or not show them?

I do seem to remember someone asking a mod a question along those lines though - I know who I think it was, but without doing a search I'm not going to cast aspersions.
Iirc there wasn't any expansion, just the question.

Somebody having trouble spelling?

If you look at your profile, there's now a bit where you can put your date of birth in. At the bottom of the main page it shows you who has a birthday today.
no not my spelling mistake, it was copied off a web site and pasted in, and to be honest i didnt even realise
