Sidelight upgrade

Post by mwad »

My sidelight ( the little light above the headlight ) is rather yellow.

I wish to upgrade this so that it is as white as possible.
Has anyone upgraded this for an LED bulb ? Did it make much difference ?

Saw this, and ordered the 2nd brightest one thay had on their site.

It's slightly too long, and the lens won't quite fit back on it's seating.

Looks cool though.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

The reflector in mine had lost all its 'shine' so I thought I could glue some tin-foil on it. Seemed to make a bit of a difference, when I took the cover off after a few months, the tin-foil had disintegrated and the bulb was a sort of chrome plate - weird, can't remember too much about school/college/uni to understand why!
