Re: DOH!!! Tyres - advice please.
I usually wear out nearly two rears to one front and the new rear will go on with the part worn front, no probs. Same with the TDM
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

I think you answered your own question.

I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

New rear and pert worn front? No problems.
My old SP1 could eat a 2CT in 1100 miles so a front often outlasted 3 rears.
BTW...did I hear a rumour that you were going to Monza?

Nearly always wear out two rears for one front.
I've currently got BT021 on the front and BT020 on the rear of my ZZR1100 and its fine.

Re: DOH!!! Tyres - advice please.
If I swapped the front every time I skinned the rear the tyre man would love it! Due to a muscle spasm problem in my right wrist brought on by years of watching Internet art I usually skin a rear in a Thousand miles , the front is just starting to show signs of wear at that mileage. Just do the rear Timbo.

Re: DOH!!! Tyres - advice please.
Get some Pilot Road 2CTs then. I have a set on the blade...0ver 2K miles on the rear (including a trackday) and there is still loads left on there. Great road tyres. Not so good on track as they overheat and let go.Beamish wrote:If I swapped the front every time I skinned the rear the tyre man would love it!
