Front brake Hoses

hi everyone

does anyone knoww the length of the front brake hoses ? i need to replace the fittings on my brake hoses as they are alloy and i was recently told that the parts on the front brakes are not legal for the mot, i have found a website that sells braided hoses cheaper that it is to replace the parts plz can anyone help me as my father is ill in south kent and i need to get parts here for the weekend so i can get my bike mot'd

I'm fitting Renthals to my StormFighter and have the brake lines sorted but I'm struggling with the clutch hose.
Have you fitted a braided clutch hose?
If so, where did you get it from and can you remember how long yours was?

Why don't you just get a length of string and run it along the brake hose, then measure it to see how long it is? :confused

Obviously I can do that but I still don't know who would make up a special :wink:

sorry mate thank you very much they did the trick my bike now has a shiney new m,o,t the work list was quite long this time round it needed new front fork oil seals (i had em in the cupboard ready), speedo sorted (3 hours to check wiring and clocks to find dead part ), front sidelight wire repaired, exaust sealed, rear brake pedel unseizing, and complete disassembly of the front end to remove and refit forks ie fairings, handlebars ect o and sort out erratic misfire and now fially i can go and see my dad tommrow who is in hospital in south kent, once again many thanks timbo your a life saver :D

my dad is making a good recovery and we are all hoping that he is gona be going home in the next week :D

one thing makes me laugh i have travel'd from here where i live in north yorks down the A1/A1m, toA14/M11, M25 over the dartford crossing then to M20 to ashford and then A20 to folkestone and back to north yorks and not one person has spotted me! :D my stealth suit works :D

The rest of us were out on the twisty roads, them straight ones are too flat and boring.

If you're down this way again, I'm near J3 M25, could meet up or stay over, even, if that's any help?
(It's only an hour more to where you're heading, though).

20 mins away from Brands Hatch, so there's a track day possibility, too.

Good to hear your dad's ok.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
