Grrrrr how convenient

Post by Beamish »

Read this response to a bike tax petition http://www.number10.gov.uk/Page19766

I read it as 'we are going to increase the tax on bikes and not ask the manufacturers now or in the future to provide CO2 emmisions data'

Hey i'm sure you would'nt mind paying even more tax for your motorcycle. After all it's not like you really need it ! I mean you can always use public transport or walk to get to work...yes you pay more tax." Oh and in the meantime,"
I'll just check if my claim for an illegal rebate for my second or third home(which honestly does belong to me,even though I don't actually stay there very often....but my sister does.......er ....sometimes) Sorry got to fly, the
man is here to clean out the moat..

p.s. Harr.. more Champers anyone

IMHO the problem we face is, they're all the bl**dy same. It doesn't matter which party gets in, it's do as I say, not as I do :!:

The alternative is become a resident of another country. I have thought long and hard about this but I was born here, I know the culture ,I belong. I love riding motorbikes through our countryside (I am talking UK not just England). I am staying. Politicians.......Corrupt tossers to a man, not one of them from either party came to my door to try and sway me into voting for them before the euro elections. Fookin useless the lot of em.

Mine came to try to persuade me to vote, but that was probaby cos she lives about 5 doors away and was on her way home. I was working on the bike at the time and she is labour, i was polite but blunt :)
Was she nice though in a power dressing sort of way?

My father said to me long before I could vote that when I was old enough " Vote for the party that is going to do you the least harm; 'cos none of them will do you any good!!!"

I wonder what would happen if not a single biker EVER renewed their road tax! Total legal licences and fully insured... just not prepared to give the Shovernment a penny??? Think Gordy might get the message??
