It will be interesting to see if any actions are taken against this individual. I was always brought up to think of the dog and attend to it's needs first before your own. I would'nt mind betting that the police have rules and regs regarding looking after their dogs, there would be merry hell on if it was a couple of scrotes/ wasters that were left in the back of a van.
It said that the RSPCA were going to be interviewing him in a couple of days. Why not get a neighbouring force to interview him now. That is wilfull neglect in my opinion.
