As far as i know mate, you take out the internals, and drill/then tap a thread into your cct,so it accepts a bolt, thus convertin it from being spring tensioned to a manual tension cct.donk wrote:Welcome buddy, i want your belly pan!!!.

Thanks alot Coledog, i really want to put the Cans on but the guy said it misfires, not sure if that means they are the wrong cans or it needs jetting or something else?
Re: Greetings from swindon, Wiltshire!!
As BP said a bolt runs down the thread where the adjuster cap now sits. It doesnt actually turn it into a manual tensioner though but it does stop the CCT retracting if the spring snaps thus stopping damage to chain, casing, valves etc.... Loads of info including drawings on this site.bikerpiker wrote:As far as i know mate, you take out the internals, and drill/then tap a thread into your cct,so it accepts a bolt, thus convertin it from being spring tensioned to a manual tension cct.donk wrote:Welcome buddy, i want your belly pan!!!.

Re: Greetings from swindon, Wiltshire!!
As they were supplied with the sale, it may have already been jetted for them
Try them and see how it feels, then check the plug colour, better still check the plugs first, if they are black then its been jetted for richer mixture
