Pearl shining yellow??

Post by pitviper »

Ok, so ive just got my 98 yellow Firestorm and ive decided that the plain old bog standard wheels look shite so im gonna set about polishin' the rims and paintin' the spokes.

Ive found a bit of conflicting advice regarding the paint codes though so hopefully somebody can enlighten me a bit.

Is there "Pearl Shining Yellow Y-124P" and "Pearl Flashing Yellow Y-160 something?" or am i gettin ma wires crossed?? That said, i have seen pics of bikes online and some yellows do appear to be brighter than others but that could be more to do with light conditions than anything. :?

Its just at 30 nicker for a quarter litre i dont wanna get the wrong one!!

Any ideas?? :?

Eddie.

Just a thought Eddie,
have you looked under the seat at the frame. You might be lucky and find the paint type sticker.
