What have you done, won the lottery?
Done the missus in buried her under the patio and claimed the insurance?
I've bought lottery tickets before and never won a thing,
however the patio is looking rather tired...................

Re: she's here
Very nice indeed Alan-the gixxer looks nice with the new pipe-that collector is terrible on the original exhaust.

Glad to see your on the mend

Tim...... You couldnt be more wrong, the Gixxer 6 is a free revving inline 4 where as the Prilla is a V4. They are chalk and cheese. Have you ridden a VFR? Imagine a Viffer with all power and torque figures multiplied by 2 and the weight of a can of beans.Timbo wrote:Both very nice, but why both? Arent they a bit similar? You know, 4 Cyl Sports Bikes.
Bloody lovely looking bikes mind, dont get me wrong.
The Yoshi on the 6 looks sweet Al.

Re: she's here
Alan, the mods on the Gixxer 600 look much better. And what's this, an RSV V4 in only 6 weeks time
Good to see you smiling again
Do keep us posted on both bikes,
Chris.

Ah sorry mate I see what you were getting at.Timbo wrote:I know what you mean Jim, but i meant they are both full on sports, not like a tourer and a sports, totally opposite bikes. The engines are obviously goign to be very different, but similar roles for the bike.Beamish wrote:Tim...... Re: she's here
no havn't won the lottery i dont gamble , John agree about the standard cat looks ugly but the standard exhaust sounded nice, really deep tone, at first i thought i had wasted my money on the yoshi but its a really nice bit of kit and very loud but its road legal.
Timbo i dont do tourers m8 there just not my cup of tea maybe when im older :wink2 plus i dont do high mileage.
sorry to wind you lot up but the rsv4 is not 100% yet im still unsure as im interested in the new r1 and the rc8r just need to test ride the r1 as ive tested the others, before i make my mind up.

Re: she's here
cos the gixxer is my winter bike and im treating myself to something special before im too old
Re: she's here
Fair one mate, having to make do with one bike all year round is a real drag
Don't get the R1, not special enough. That RSV4 will make you fall in love with riding again, i test rode one and they are truly epic, especially the noise!
