Spare a thought.........

Post by Seeker 77 »

Watched those six brave souls making their final journey today, went up to the A420 and saluted as they went past. Such a waste of life. RIP fellas, gone but not forgotten........

I've just spent the last 10 minutes listening to my 14 year old son practising on his Cornet.
He was playing THE LAST POST.
He has been asked to play the last post at a memorial service tomorrow 11/11 at 11.00.
Kids make you proud!

I've always maintained the 2 minute silence at 11am - the least we can do to remember every generation of soldier, airman and sailor lost since WW1. The older you get the more you realise that usually these are just boys really.

Well said Paul :!:

It's for these brave souls that we have the freedom to live our lives like we do today, people are inclined to forget that IMHO.
