Old Git But Still A Newbie

Post by simo »

:biggrin Hows tha all ganin on?Have been veiwing your forum for a while and find it addictive. My bikes a RED 1998 and already has manual CCTs which sound like a must on these bikes. It has black clipons which i am told are off a post 2001 model which are not so dropped. I have had the Storm a couple of years and have added Pyramid colour coded Hugger and Lower fairing. Will try to post some pics when i find out how. Safe Storming 4 now.

Hey Simo, Welcome to the Forum.

It looks like you have a family thing going as your lad also has a Storm if I understood the other introduction.

Very jealous, I only have daughters, and although they will go on the pillion, I doubt they will ever ride their own bike, so no family rides out.

have fun and no racing now!

Welcome aboard Simo

My bike is also Red but a year newer. I fitted the later model (19litre fuel tank) black clip-on bars on my bike too. I find them better than the original bars. They are 19mm (3/4") higher at the bar end weight of the bars than the originals.

Cheers,

Chris.
