Weather's getting better - managed to get a fair few miles in this weekend.
Just wondering where you lot go for a blast...

today i went up to delamere down the 'leisure ride' toward winsford, pickmere, hatchmere and here

nice pothole free roads and only saw 1 plod all day :)
got some butt off seat action but still can't for the life of me get rid of the last line of pips off me tyres lol, 1/4" to go but that's near enough horizontal :crazy:

Won't be going far up here till the snow F-cks off, plus there in more gravel on some of the roads up here than I have on my driveway.

We have had a Northerly wind up here for a week and a half. It is a lazy wind, as it would rather go through you than round you :)

Went to Chorley Hospital,told ankle damage is likely to take 6 months to heal
tried riding storm after 15 mins hurts like hell..........Bad times.....

had a great ride today with some lads off nwb forum,down the a49 to demon tweeks stoppin at broxton picnic area for a brew,good weather and great rds :thumbup:

Thanks Tim, The good news is the bones have started to heal ,but there's
ligament damage thats not playing the game,so although i can walk short distances now without crutches it's a long way off being right. Does'nt stop me "tinkering "out in the garage and I've been out twice on the "the queen mother" for short runs...but not that safe with no power in the right ankle

linked brakes and motox boots ftw.
was it a bike injury???
had my fair share over the years, worst was 2 shattered vertebrae after i hit a cortina estate head on on a kwak 400, many years ago, doesnt bother me now but shrunk me with the impact lol.

hope you get mended soon then bud :)

finished early again today so went for a blast up to bradford along the old road - A58, then across the tops, A636, crackin road, definately would like to do that again early one summer morning, ended up on top of saddleworth moors on a beltin long straight road down into oldham then back home :)
a bit bumpy tho at 130 and fkin cold lol.

lost the back end changing down on a bend in culcheth lol, shat meself but managed to keep it up. (the bike i mean...)

hoping for some nice weather at weekend then i can contribute more to global warming :biggrin

*btw, notice the gloves warming on the zorst?
had to take a slash behind the bike but didn't realise my left glove had fell off the can... you guessed. :cry:
