IAM Surety

Post by geodude »

Has anyone passed their IAM exam and then gone on to use the IAM Surety insurance. My insurance is up for renewal and I would like to hear peoples experience with them. Especially how much cheaper the insurance was.

Not the exact answer you were looking for but I just renewed mine with MCE and it was 40% cheaper than the next nearest quote - and I got quite a few!

Last year I paid £321 for fully comp insurance with £750 excess. The cheapest I found this year was MCE £231 with £750 excess (own bike, no pillion). Phoned up IAM Surety and got it for £180 inc. legal, protected NCB, pillion and ride any other bike (TPO) and £500 excess

£50 bonus for passing the IAM exam.

w00t!!
