Firestorm MPG

Post by motorola222 »

hi guys hope all is well

i keep reading on this forum about how people are only gettin 30-35mpg out of there storms the lowest iv had so far is 39.

am i missing something. i usually get 42-44mpg. which i think is excellent although i know for a bike its quite poor. but then i didnt come from a subaru impreza turbo that drank fuel for fun and thought 22mpg was my favourite site on the dash.

what do u guys think.

No, can't get more than 30.
There has to be a mathematical correlation between flies per sq inch of visor and MPG.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I once got average of 51 mpg, from Plymouth to Hull, the reg/rec had blown and cooked battery, didn't know what the problem was at the time so rode at 60mph real steady...what a long ride home it was. But blown away by 51 mpg
it may be clever, but its not big.
