Just for info, I have just ordered no-cut bobbins direct from T-Rex Racing in Texas for £46 delivered.......just hope they clear customs etc. I have seen these in situ on a mates bike and they are good quality items......hope I never have to test them out !

no - this is bobbins - beware the customs man (w@nker)
now, anything from usa with a value of more than £18 is subject to vat at the full 17 1/2%
as i just found out when i collected my dynojets.
on top of that, parcelfarce charged £8 'clearing fee'

and i had to drive to scouseland to pick it up or they would return to sender at my expense
the item arrived on the 14th yet they only told me today

not happy at all.
suggest if you order from america, ask the seller to mark as GIFT with a value of $1 to avoid getting ripped off when it gets here.
i paid to have the item delivered to my door, unopened and as it had a marked value of £43 i fail to see how this was subject to a vat charge of £22.

Hope YOU never have to test them the T-Rex....................... I did! Saved a fair bit of damage IMHO, but it swivelled back on its mounting bolt and put a tiny scratch in the frame. No real damage to frame; just cosmetic but the insurance assessor saw it and advised a new frame etc. Needless to say the bike was written off for that and other minor item that added up to stupidly high figures. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

was that a cat B then??

i got damage to the yoke stops on the frame - the ally lug was a bit squished.
the assessor said he wouldn't put it down as it was repairable and if he put it on the form it would be a cat B and cant be used on the road without a new frame and re-reg.
i got the blobs welded back on and dressed it up with a dremel and it looks spot on now, sprayed over it and looks good as new.

didn't really fancy a new frame cos with the reg plate i bought id have to buy one after V reg and there aren't many about.
