Auto login to site not working properly
Auto login to site not working properly
Still having problems with the auto log in feature since the changeover. Using safari I've reset it i.e deleted cache, deleted cookies etc but despite this I have to manually log in every visit.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Re: Auto login to site not working properly
works ok for me bud, maybe in your security settings, lke you may have 'don't allow 3rd party cookies' enabled or summat?
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Wicky,
I have same problem on both work & home computers.
Both with Windows explorer
My try the cookie / password clear trick and see if that helps

3 security settings for Cookies in Safari
Always
Never
Checked Only from Sites I visit (block cookies from 3rd parties and advertisers)
Works for everything else I use
there are no VTR1000.org cookies, rather there are 3 for .vtr1000.org (set to expire after a year). The VTR site is presumably framed through vtr1000.org which is what it is confusing my 'puter, as the cookies for some reason aren't read by the VTR1000 site

If having it always accepting cookies on opens up a can of cookie worms then I'll post a follow up

Cuppa,
Got it sorted, but as I did about 3 things from the suggestions on here including deleting my shortcut, and changing the cookie setting, I dont know which worked, so you can all assume your fix worked.
Just got to repeat it on Home PC now
