I think gopro was best money ever spent on bikecam setup, and really happy with the results so far , straight out of the box.

ive got 4 day mini long weekend this next week so will be out and about then hopefully to do some more tests. might be out tuesday night too

Awesome. It looks weird as its in the same place as mine but its not my bike nor my roads. lol

I will invest in the HD version and then use them bout together. Let see what santa brings I've asked for either the camera or a personalised number plate

What mounts did you use for that? Is it just the clip on bit mounted straight to the camera and no extension? Looks good.

yeh just the flat sticky mount on the left of the top yoke, an extension would be better, for a better view through the screen.
same clocks as yours, filmed the clock view to show off the accell - fkin wicked lol, way better than before

loads lol, bmc race filter, dynojet, removed intake stub restrictor rings, modded the airbox snorkel, fitted short stacks, +4 degree advancer and serviced it - oh different pipes as well, lasers with a wider bore link pipe, dunno if that's made a difference but sounds nice!

agree. i like tank mount best meself, so you can see the clocks, forward view through the screen and also the steering, leaning over etc.

You're probably right Benny about that position being the best to get the most real as you can get from a video, but for me I'd rather keep the clocks out of the video. Too much evidence from that position for the old bill to take off you, if he should happen to pull you for speeding

Been playing around tonight, and found the the camera will run without batteries using the transfer cable plugged into a usb port So in theory could be powered on the bike using one of the universal 12v to usb adapters readly availlable.

Maybe something along these lines

Cool. That would mean drilling through the case. I think the cases are about £35 so I guess you could get a spare.

Keep us update mate as the only real problem I am having with the camera is power :/

Well i can confirm it works without batteries. Ive just recorded a 10 minute video in the house, with only the supplied transfer cable plugged in for power :) I just dont have the heart to drill the plastic housing

I've found a really cheap alternative if you're interested. It's nice and unassuming too so plod won't see it! Size of a key fob.

It's on ebay for £10 and the quality is very good, including sound. Plan to mount it with 3m dual bond or something similar. It outputs avi files 720x480

I'm on hols this week so I'll post a vid if I get time.

Just a thought, i thought the microphone was on the rear of the camera ???? So in theory should be more wind noise ?

Correct me if im wrong, but aint that what the holes are for top right rear ?
