I'm sure this has probably come already but...
I've just bought Silver Zippers skidamarx belly pan (ex Beamish, ex Kitch etc...) and need a handle on the best way to spray it Teal (no jokes please) and roughly how much 'rattly' spray cans I'll need to finish it? What's the best way to get rid of the existing paint scheme? (Red and Teal just aren't me)
As I've got access to a local Halfords, what primer would you recommend, and is standard laquer OK?
Also, has anyone got first-hand experience of how the Halfords Teal looks once it's applied next to the original stuff?

Re: Teal paint question
er i think ive still got 2 tins mate, perfect match.
save you takng a gamble.
tbh i got perfect results with a silver primer - really brings out the colour, then you want a good lacquer over the top.
halfords do a fuel proof lacquer but i was recommended to use pro-xl uv & fuel proof 500ml clear lacquer (from ebay, pontypool paints) - it is THE best and very easy to apply.
pm me if you want the paint - as you can see, mine's gone through the change

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
