Grab rail fitting
Grab rail fitting
I got a grab rail from e-bay for a tenner
, but it didn't come with the fitting bracket. can anyone with one take a few photos so I can get an idea of what the bracket looks like. My brother has welders etc, he said he'll help make one.

Re: Grab rail fitting
Can't get you a photo right now but they slide into the rear subframe. Any Renntec grab rail etc come with them, universal for rack / rail.
Think I emailed the bloke you got yours off on ebay (about 10 days ago?) I decided not to have punt as he didn't have the bits, it was for a mate of mine who was after a rack.
Might be worth an email to him to see if he's got them stuck in the back of his rear subframe. And def worth emailing a few bike breakers to see if they have any.
PM me your mobile number and I'll pic text you the bits you need if I can find mine!!!! I'm not the cleverist on putting pic's on here so if anyone else can - great.

I used to be indescisive, now I,m not so sure
Re: Grab rail fitting
In fairness Soutie, that pic on ebay is probably better than any photo I could send you on my mobile. You can see how the outer two parts slide down into the rear subframe then the back plate bolts on, then the rack fits to that.
I'll see if I can find mine tomorrow then I can make you a template.

Soutie,
The one Giddsy's found is exactly the same as the one I've take the template / photo's of. Might be worth phoning / emailing him to see if he'll end it early for you? But I see he's a new ebayer so he may want to start toting up his feedback score.
