Names for your bike? Do/would you bother?

Post by Anotherbikerbabe »

Any thoughts on this? Most guys refer to their baby as a girl, therefore my Q to you guys (& gals?) is this: If you were to think of a suitable name for your bike, what on earth would it be?

My Honda that I sold to fund the Storm purchase, was actually called Storm as I had huffed and chuffed over Storm or Shadow as my Honda was Black and quite new 08 plate, so I can hardly call my Storm 'Storm'! So now I'm stuck and banana doesn't do it for me, so back to square1 now trying to think of another name and it doesn't feel right keep calling it 'my bike' so have to get my thinking cap on again. So do you have a name for yours? or you not that bothered and it's just another bike and not meant to have a name :sad2

i'd call mine 'the bike with no name' like the clint character - which i always thought was pretty stupid, seeing as his name was 'the man with no name'
they called him Tmwnn for short, which is probably the reason he was often mistaken for a welsh pot noodle miner.

I quite liked "square1", that's original.

Tracy, I'm not one for naming my bikes normally, but a good many years ago I had a Triton 750 that was yellow. My mates always referred to it as the "Yellow Peril" :plainsmile

Never named any of the bikes I've had, though the VTR is being called a few expletives lately! Only thing that ever got named was a Range Rover I had. It was called Grunt for obviuos reasons.
