Re: Choke question
easy.
remove front spark plug
stuff front velocity stack with bog roll.
you might notice a slight flat spot from 1000 rpm to redline but the fuel economy is better.
as you know, you can use a lot of yamaha parts on the storm to good effect - like r6 r/r, r1 tail unit etc...
search ebay for a yamaha fs1e and fit the pedal assembly to the gearbox.
you will now get over 1000mpg and be able to ride the storm with L plates.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Re: Choke question
Your MPG with one of those won't be much better. You'll find you waste a lot as it'll leak. Better with Shell!!!Timbo wrote:you fit one of these![]()

Re: Choke question
Try unscrewing it and spray a little WD40 into the thread. It might just be stiff threads and wont tighten properly. Retighten and see how you get on

Re: Choke question
Pikeman,
I am not sure if I am stating the obvious, but I am worried that you are looking at the nut that holds the choke assy to the frame bracket. The nut that Tony talks about is under the rubber boot where the plunger goes in to the plastic body. It is normaly easy to tighten up by hand.
Hope that helps, if not, sorry to doubt your technical skills
