Getting on my bike this morning to go to work, exiting my garage, riding up my road and turning onto main road and then realising.....
'sh1t - I forgot to put my helmet on,' and riding back home, hoping to avoid getting caught.
So much on mind at the moment re work issues, that did not even initially notice cold head / unrestricted movement etc etc - not thinking straight.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
