plod should be ok with that tbh cos looks like the numbers are right size, right font and spacing is bob on.
good site that innit - you can see what it looks like before you buy it, customise the borders and sig at the bottom etc,
recommended

Grabbed myself some nice solid rose-joints for the gear linkage as the std ones were more loose than a whores knickers! lol

Cheers!

I got mine from McGill Motorsports, although I rang them, there cheaper that way!

You'll need a left hand thread and a right hand thread!

Yep, always get confused with threads, always just call em 10mm's etc! lol

They do a ultra high performance one aswell for a tenner each or so, but after speaking to him the other day he recommended just the high perf one!

Good chaps they are!

PB,
Which ones did you go for :?: as I'm wondering if the ones with the rubber boot fitted will be the better option for keeping the dirt/dust out,

Chris.

i went for the one's without the boot covering them like the look lol! i greased the rose joint to keep off corrosion and polished the connecting bar as it was fairly grimey :)

And yes male Left and Right thread.

After doing a few rides with the new joints I can deffo confirm they make a difference, gearchange is much more positive and smoother than before!

Why Honda didnt use this type in the first place is beyond me! lol

Next up is to get rid of the little bit slop on the actual gear lever!

Pleased you guys like em! :D

Yeah i thought this , mine has a little play ,was thinking to use thin nylon washers to take up any play but its not that bad, undecided whether i will or not. :) Actually just went and had a look and there is one or 2 mm play at the most so won't bother..

That play is not only end-float (which as you say PB could be taken up with a thin washer), but it's also actual play on the gear change lever shaft itself.

If somebody had a lathe they could turn out some closer tolerance fit phosphor-bronze bushes.
So who's up for that :?: I'd interested for one

Chris.

PS. Those Rose joints look good in your pic's PB
