Charging

Hi all
Right I seem to have a charging issue. When charged the bat shows 12.4 volts, when running shows a steady 13.6 v lights on and 14.4 lights off. If I increase revs there is no change in the voltage. If ignition is on and lights are on engine off I can watch the Volts count down. I have an r6 reg/ Rex fitted. Is this just a dead battery?

voltages are good, regulator/rectifier is there to stop the volts going up when you rev it so as not to blow up the battery!

so the battery is on it's way out as it's not holding a charge properly!

How old is it?
