to the limiter, on the clock? 150+ in 4th, 160 in 5th, way over that in top at just over 10k.
not sure what that is on the satnav cos it's fkt but at 150 it showed 141 on the tomtom before i washed my bike and forgot to take it off!
sat up it wont redline in top, get behind the screen and it's scary lol, very hard to reach the brake & clutch!!! :biggrin

best bit is, at that speed, the mirrors are still clear, no vibes.

1/4 mile should be interesting at the bulldog tomorrow lol

I had and indicated 155 on the clock when I had mine-I'm guessing that'll be more like 140ish.

They all read over.

I'd guess a good one would be between 140-150.

OK the gearing screwed the speedo calibration, I am sure someone will advise what % error that brings ontop of standard Speedo 10% error

Best not to post footage unless you want it used as evidence in court etc etc :Banned:

according to gearing commander the top speed with a 15/41 gear ratio is 150.3 mph. which concurs with the shat nav.

150 sounds more like it, 170 would be with serious tuning.

I have to admit that I have never seen over 140 on mine, but I never even try to see how fast it will go in a straight line, so the 140 is just the result of "making progress".
I tend to try and stay below 3 figures to avoid the ban, and generally only push the limits on the corners, so some times I slow down when I get to the straights!

Must be getting old..........when I was 20 on my old GS1000 I would test it flat out every week............But that was 28yrs ago and I lived in Scotland then, so there was less traffic and less police also. Living in the midlands it is just too busy and too many 50 limits.

On a private airfield I clocked 150 ish on my old Storm, on that same airfield comes up a tad quicker on the SP.

Looks like some one needs a speedo healer badly.

Best I've ever seen was 172 on my old CBR , the storm would show me 160 just. Must admit, since I fixed the clutch on the SP I haven't really tried. I took it up into the mid 150s to confirm the clutch slip had stopped (used to happen about 145) and that was it. Not really worried at top end any more but I do love the way it tries to get there :D
