Yes Gareth - it is, only I wont need to rewire the fan via the horn this time :D

Just getting new panels for it now as snot green has to go. I also need to do my best Basil Fawlty impression on the alarm and beat it to death... Much like the SP, its going to be pulled to bits and furtled with...

SP IS 8) 8) 8)

Just finished servicing it-only a couple of clearances out. All put back together last week and cleaned/polished this weekend...role on some decent weather

Here's my old speed triple. Lovely exhaust, clip doesn't do it justice. It backfired in most gears!

I'd forgotten about the crafty electrical works done by the side of the road in Dublin....... even now I salute the ingenuity of it. It should go down in Triumph history as one of the great roadside workarounds....... For anyone interested here's what happened. Tony's Triple was overheating badly (something wrong with the automatic fan thingy - I'm not technical so please excuse my chronic ignorance) as we made our way from Dublin City ferry port out of the City. First time to NW200 and we were lost. At a set of lights the Triple gave up and spat out all it's water. Tony refilled the water up but that didn't solve the underlying problem of overheating. So, some quick furtling later and the fan is now wired to the horn so Tony can manually switch the fan on when we're crawling through City centre traffic. Pure genius! All this was done at the road side on the outside skirts of Dublin!

Yes indeed Clarkey - all as a result of an inept mechanic (not me) fitting an alarm and shagging my electrics.

The Roulette Green bodywork will be on E-bay on Friday to be replace by a shiny black-set.... Let the games begin. :D
