A few years back I remember seeing a guide for replacing the front-brake hoses with braided ones. As the time I believe the kit from Goodridge didn't quite fit - some kind of issue with the banjo bolt?
So, two questions:
1. Does anyone have the URL for a fitting guide? pref VTR specific.
2. Is the kit improved these days? Or are there still issues?
BTW: I've got a '99 model.
Thanks.

Top tip:
Take the calipers off,
Gently pump the pistons out (a block of wood between them stops then popping out)
Remove old hoses
Fit new hoses
Push pistons all the way back in again
Result: The lines get filled with fluid from the bottom up (ie in the same direction as any air bubbles want to go)
Saves about 45 mins of pumping lever etc
Got mine from Hein Gericke, Goodridge stainless with clear coating <£40 I think

Braided hoses
I belive that HEL do them quite cheap.
Think the site is http://www.h-e-l.co.uk but not sure, can order direct from them or via distributors like busters I think, know that Demon Tweeks do Goodridge for certain.
HEL also give options of PVC coateing in many colurs, just like Jason's coat.

Slow in, slow out. Ohh err missus, now with added G-Force carbon fibre race cans. Sounds like a Spitfire.

It gives you step by step pictures and tells you which tools you require for the job. It also informs you how to change to DOT 5 brake flued if you want. Stick to DOT 4 though, 5 is for race bikes and more maintenance is needed.
Best to have a device that can extract the liquid from the lines. It will be much easier then pumping through the new fluid.
