Do you think it has any effect on your cornering confidence whether you are left or right handed? If I had to make a call on it I think I am less confident on left hand bends, for instance knee will touch on the right without thinking about it but left needs thinking about. I am left handed by the way.
Alec the other thought about your confidence on right handers, do you find your vision drops? You need to look where you want to end up. Sorry if I sound like I am trying to teach my grandmother to suck eggs, just a thought.

go & do a track day in novice group & get an instructor to do a few laps with you.
by the end of the morning you'll be scuffing your knees on every bend & loving it.

suggest you do it sooner than later cos the price will go up as it gets toward summer & you will be out on the road more as well.
drivers get impatient on roundabouts so you dont want to be hanging about.
nothing more dangerous (for yourself) than lack of confidence.

BT021's they're almost new, can lean to left ok its just the right,

could be that too, i'm looking for the grit and stuff instead of where i should be going, i'll have to get out and take notice of what i'm doing

ive noticed myself doing that more since my last offage.
never really bothered me before but i do pay a lot more attention to road conditions these days... must be getting soft lol.
i drive a lot as well tho, like 1000 mile a week & i'm same in my car so it's not just a bike thing.
but it does help me to plan rides better as i'll avoid roads that i know are battered.

just a cautionary.... this time of year watch out for the annual loose chipping campaign to hide the dodgy roads

yeah we get that a lot around my area and ther's still a lot of salt on the roads where i am, i'm going to give the roundabouts a go tomorrow eve when traffic quietens down a bit and see how i go

Fit triangular tyres, you either lean it into a bend or don't come out the other side.

i had square ones on my zx9r for ages till i changed them think the bloke who owned it before me only rode on straight roads lol
