Rideout with my local IAM group

Post by gumbie man »

Had a email come through from the local IAM group about a rideout on sunday(yesterday) with the promise of nice scenery and challenging roads so thought i would give it a try.
Got to the meeting place, lots of blokes on big BMW`s, couple of Triumph`s,and me on my loud storm, so off we set and yes there was lots of nice scenery and lots of challenging roads but the only problem was the roads at their speeds werent very challenging. :Sleep2:

Yes, we left the local IAM group as they will not exceed any speed limits - quite right in 30/40's etc but bloody dangerous when trying to overtake a lorry doing 56 without exceeding 60! Even the police think this is daft.

However, you must have learnt something about positioning/defensive riding/observation skills surely?
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!
